Pole Dance

Get Up & Move

Learn about pole fitness and how to integrate pole dance with any type of traditional dance style.  We offer beginner, intermediate and open studio pole classes, as well as special events where we learn about other forms of pole dance such as choreography or exotic dance.

Beginner's Pole Dance

This is a beginner level pole dance class.  No experience required.  This is for those who have never taken a pole class before or for those who are still working on learning the basics.  Appropriate pole attire must be worn (such as booty shorts and sports bra), although warm-up attire can be worn over pole attire.  Pole dancing is addictive! Come join the community!

This class is for BEGINNERS.

Pole Strength and Conditioning

This class is for anyone who wants to work on building strength while learning pole dance skills. The class is open to anyone looking for a killer workout full of strength training and inversions as well as pole students looking to hone their skills! Appropriate pole attire required. No rings can be worn while using the poles.

This class is for ALL-LEVELS

Low-Flow Pole Dance

Low Flow simply means moving around the base of the pole, as opposed to climbing or doing aerial tricks. Spins, rolls, handstands, some floorwork, dance-y combos; all of these fall into the category of "low flow".  It doesn't have to be sexy--a lot of contemporary dancers will include some low flow in their choreographies. The main thing is that it's around the base of the pole, as opposed to aerial combos and tricks.

This class is for ALL-LEVELS.

Open Studio

Don't have a pole at home to practice on?  Come to Open Studio! An instructor will be present at the Open Studio but this is not a formal class.  It is, essentially, as if you are practicing at home.  You must practice within your capability, comfort level and based on prior instruction.

This class is for ALL-LEVELS.

Workshops

Occasionally we have guest instructors who will teach a workshop on a specific topic including Choreo, Floorplay, Liquid motion, Pole Fluidity or Inverts.

Most Workshops are for ALL-LEVELS.
